Getting Sponsorship.

 

At this time of the season when teams are getting ready to race they will be estimating what the costs will be to run a campaign throughout the series.

 

They already have outlayed quite a bit of time and money to get their car up and ready and will looking forward to a successful season.

 

At the moment the committee is in the process of getting sponsorship for the class. This will help, along with the payments we receive from the tracks on race day, to cover some costs.

 

However each team getting sponsorship themselves would be of more benefit to them and would spread the sponsorship dollar over a greater area.

 

What can we offer a potential sponsor as a class?

 

The VSC Sprintcars provide a lot of excitement for race fans at the tracks that we run. This is a class that attracts people to the tracks.

 

This is a growing class and could have 12 or more cars at meetings this season.

 

The class has a high profile in the media.

 

The teams have taken a lot of effort in presenting their cars in a professional manner and always look good on the track.

 

The teams are well organised and are ready to race when called upon and line up and race in an orderly fashion.

 

The cars with their wings provide plenty of opportunity to display a potential sponsor’s logo etc.

 

  

What can you offer as a team?

 

It depends on the type of deal you have got in getting sponsorship but you can always find a suitable spot to place a sticker.

 

You can have them put their logo on a wing, they may also put your car in their colours if the sponsorship is suitable.

 

You may make your car available for displays for a promotion they may be holding.

 

Getting sponsorship does require some time and research but it may be a great help to get you through the season.

 

Who do you approach in getting sponsorship?

 

There may be someone you know interested in speedway and would be prepared to become part of your team and pay for the privilege.

 

You may be able to obtain products that you use on your car donated or at a reduced rate and the sponsor may be happy to have a sticker on your car.

 

If you are in the fortunate situation where you purchase products from a company for your business, this company may be happy to support you in kind or with a cash donation.

 

It is a matter of getting in touch and finding out what will suit both you and the supplier.
